October 2009 Family Retreat Weekend

In October we did a four day retreat weekend in Wimauma Florida. We atarted on Weds night with a potluck and sing a long at our meeting place. We had lots of great homemade food and great fellowship and we had a lot of fun and laughter. Then we met on Thursday at 10-2 & 7 for preaching and singing and puppet ministry. On Friday morning we held a ladies meeting, in which ,our pianoist Jeanie Pierce, did a Patsy Cline number...what a fun time and the men had a time of testimonies and uplifting each other by telling what God had done in their lives. We met back together at 2 for puppet ministry and then again at 7 Randy, my brother , preached. On Saturday morning, my nephew, Jeremy, spoke for the first time in his life. I am so proud of him. He has now gone on to speak in other churches and God is using him in an awesome way. We had a service at 2 and 7. Then on Sunday morning, we met at our home for our final service of the weekend. God came down and blessed all who where there and His presence was wonderful. Thanks to Jeanie Pierce, who played the piano and sang, couldnt do the weekend without her..Thank you to Paul & Elaine McCoy for singing, Donna Terry for coming to sing and Ken Tate for blessing us with song as well. We had 2 souls saved over the weekend, which is what is the greatest miracle of all. Thank you to all of those of you who came from Ohio, Tennessee, and Georgia and florida to be with us. We are planning Oct 12-15, 2011. Please make ou plans now to come and be with us for the weekend. We have rv spots and a motel next door to our meeting place. We as a family were so blessed by having all of those who attended. We hope that you will make plans to be with us next time and be blessed.
