OCTOBER 2009 FAMILY RETREAT

In October we did a three day retreat in Wimauma Florida. We started on Thursday night at our home and had a potluck which was wonderful, and we had a sing a long and a time of testimonies.Our precious friend, Jeanie Pierce , played the piano for us all through the weekend. Her and her husband John are wonderful folks. I couldnt have done the music without Jeanie. Then on Friday morning, we met at the Church of God Convention Center Cafetria at 10:00 a.m. for our opening meeting. I sang and my brother, Randy, did the preaching, We met again at 2:00p.m. for a time of puppets , singing and preaching. My brothers best friend , Ricky Spooner sang and played piano for us in that meeting. We met again at 7:00p.m. for another time of ministry. We had an awesome day!! Then on Saturday we met at 9:00a.m for donuts and coffee. Thanks to Jean & Ernest Tomlinson for helping with the preparation of breakfast. At 10:00 a.m., our good friend, Rev.Paul McCoy, spoke for us. Pastor Pauls wife, Elaine, sang for us and so did Pastor Paul ...What a Blessing... What a wonderful word from God. We met again at 2:00 & 7:00 was our last meeting. My brother, Randy, did all the preaching for the meetings and we were blessed by the Word that God gave him for us . All that were there were blessed. We are planning to do this again next October if not sooner. We as a family were so blessed by having all of those who attended.
